Looks like the worst place to have purchased it from is their actual website. Can this doorbell integrate with Samsung SmartThings?Yes like a giant SIM eject tool needed to pop off the unit from underneath.I actually got this because my Ring's been a bit dodgy recently, I called the support but they refused to replace it. Wired and Wireless Doorbells, Homekit I'm just learning that the wireless doorbells can also be connected to doorbell wiring, which is really frustrating because I have doorbell wiring and bought two wired ones, but there's only word of the wireless ones getting HomeKit. See visitors in sharp detail as they approach your door. No false positives and no missed detections yet.Does this doorbell do that on either device?can we configure this to get a remote feed without subscription when not at home ?being slow or no or too mamy false positiveWell the pin used looks fairly generic. Receive facial snapshot notifications so that you can quickly check who is at the door. Supposedly they are rolling out RTSP for it in the near future (there was recently another thread).I'm hoping Eufy takes the time to unify features across their line. (That said, the video is encrypted at rest on the doorbell storage but if you don’t have the video data you have no evidence...)Yeah they claimed back in March on the Eufy forum that they were adding support for the Wired Doorbell to use the Homebase as storage instead of the on-doorbell storage but they still haven’t added that support....only option is to either buy the Wireless/battery doorbell (which can also be hard-wired, but, unfortunately the battery doorbell doesn’t have HDR support...rather, it has something called “WDR”) or wait and hope Eufy adds support to pair the wired doorbell with the Homebase and use it for storage. The $40 yearly sub is a major downer.Yea you can stream it on both, but I think automatic playback when doorbell is triggered is yet to be added.I restarted mine, didn't work.I hate how every single smart video doorbell manufacturer plasters their name in big writing on the doorbell. I have 2 bases now ( 1 spare). But if you are in the market for a Smart Video doorbell and you have a Homebase 2 already, this is a great price. The Eufy battery operated video doorbell is now available for sale as an addon without a HomeBase 2.
The information under the help page is too early to display. A month ago, we posted about the Eufy Wireless Video Doorbell reportedly getting HomeKit functionality by the end of June. Whilst the storage is local, is it possible to stream live (or even to play back some of that locally stored content) to a device elsewhere?
As of now you cannot pair the wired doorbell to a Homebase in the Eufy security app, sadly. Not currently. fingers crossed I can get some at a discount soonIf you had less scruples you could buy it now, and return and re-buy on Thursday. The RING as far as i can see gets an overall terrible wrap with main gripe being slow or no or too mamy false positive notifications. They can be displayed on the Nest Hub, but it's pretty slow to load the feed. They matched it and said it would be updated on the website for everyone.Pretty good deal, with local warranty. This newer version supports both battery and hardwiring.Wait, what? I think an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.Purchased the wireless version :)Having the base station as storage is a better option rather than having the storage on the doorbell itself, also you get more storage 4gb(wired) vs 16gb(wireless)Only other difference is the wired version isn't as bulky mounted to the wall.Where you're the only one in your street then it may well deter them (so many other targets rather than the one with video)Can you pull a RTSP stream from these to view on your PC?What's the ozbargain user consensus on this?If not, I am thinking of just having the iPad for the Yale lock and doorbell. So bummed I missed the 2c camera deals recently at supercheap. no ongoing fees.
I wish there was a way to add family members so that they don't trigger the notification that someone triggered the motion sensor.Yes, just the storage is done locally.Maybe try use the activity zones in the app.Does the live feed automatically come up on the Alexa? How easy is it to snap out of the mount? eufy support advised requesting a replacement via email to their UK support. One thing that surprised me was that the Eufy Doorbell comes with a HomeBase 2.
